Automotive sales have been around since 1769 with the creation of a steam powered vehicle, invented by Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot. That's 252 years of automotive sales!

A lot has changed since then, gone are the days of checkered suits, multi-colored penant flags and cigars hanging out of the mouth, You'll be hard pressed to even find a neck tie in some dealerships.

Over the last few years there has been a pretty major shift in the buying habits of consumers. With the pandemic constantly looming over our heads, more and more consumers are taking their buying habits online. When the consumer wants to move online, so does the dealership. It's anticipated that when the world starts returning to normal, many of these new buying habits will remain. This is due to a number of reasons, but first and foremost, buying online is convenient. You no longer have to visit 5 dealerships to find your next vehicle. In fact 95% of consumers start their shopping online. Here at Steinbach Dodge, we recently launched our new website (https://www.steinbachdodge.ca/) With new features and an easy to navigate interface, you can find all the relevant information needed to get your search started. In time, you'll be able to finalize your pay structure and add options such as extended warranty and gap insurance. You can choose how you want to communicate, whether it's texting, email, calling or in person. The majority (if not all) of the deal can be done remotely. Where you are most comfortable. Where does the sales associate fit in? The modern salesmen helps you along the buying process. They are more or less your personnel guide. A stylist can help you buy a slick pair of pants, A car sales associate helps you with your next vehicle. They are a wealth of knowledge on the vehicle features and can help you locate the vehicle that fits the equipment that you need. Beyond that, they set up the test drive and make sure that the vehicle is ready to go for you, answering all your questions along the way. Once you select the vehicle you want, they help you along with all the paperwork and structuring needed to get you into your new vehicle. I.E. applying your trade in, finance terms, pros and cons of different options. etc...

All of this is designed so that you, the consumer, has the easiest and most convenient buying process with whatever dealership you choose. Birchwood Automotive Group is dedicated to being the number 1 dealer group in central Canada, and remains on the cutting edge of technology to make sure that your buying process is simple and fun!
